COLLABORATIVE ARTWORK
Since high school, I have participated in a number of collaborative projects ranging from large outdoor murals to installations in large spaces including theatrical sets. Here are some more recent examples of painting projects in which I was the lead artist. There are three paintings at the Connecticut Audubon, Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center. One of these was was used as the centerfold for the booklet “The Connecticut Coastal Shores”; this was a joint project of the CT Sea Grant and The CT College Arboretum. I worked closely with local scientists and writers. The other two were commissioned by the Center to depict the flora and fauna of the lower CT River. I recruited other artists who specialized in the various subjects of the compositions. Recently I designed and completed a large four foot by sixteen foot indoor mural that will be hung in “The Place for CommUNITY Wellbeing” which provides groceries and healthcare to those in need in the New London, CT area. It pictures the urban community garden of FRESH, New London. Several local artists and students helped over the course of this project.
