A BFA graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University 1970 and a Two Year Certificate student of the Lyme Academy of Art 1983, John has worked and taught in many mediums, including digital photography, traditional Chinese painting, acrylic, oil, and watercolor painting and nature printing. He also has an MA in Art Education from Goddard College,1978. He was an art teacher at the Williams School in New London, CT, a private middle and high school, 1983 - 2005. From 2005- 2012 he was an Artist in Residence at the ISAAC School, a charter middle school in New London. Currently he works out of his home studio in Quaker Hill, CT.
